The IE4320-EI series industrial switches are a new generation of industrial-grade switches developed in strict compliance with industrial specifications. Built on an industrial-grade hardware platform, the components of the entire series deliver significantly higher reliability than commercial-grade components under the same conditions.

Adopting a fanless thermal energy loop design with built-in heat sinks and thermally conductive gels, the switches ensure consistent performance in various harsh environments. The circuit boards are coated with three-proofing lacquer, supporting an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Lightning protection and surge protection are provided to adapt to diverse harsh outdoor environments.

The IE4320-EI series switches meet the IP51 protection rating.

Precision Time Synchronization (PTP)
  • As a master-slave synchronization system, IEEE 1588v2 operates by having the master clock periodically broadcast PTP time synchronization protocol and time information. Slave clock ports receive timestamp information sent from the master clock port. The system calculates the line delay and time offset between master and slave clocks accordingly, and uses this offset to adjust the local time, ensuring the slave device maintains the same frequency and phase as the master device. IEEE 1588v2 achieves both frequency synchronization and time synchronization simultaneously. The accuracy of time transfer mainly depends on two conditions: an accurate counter frequency and symmetrical link latency. Compared with traditional timing technologies, IEEE 1588v2 offers distinct advantages. Amid rising industry demands for higher precision, IEEE 1588v2 has become an inevitable development trend.

  • The Ethernet management interface of the IE4320-EI series industrial switches supports SNMPv1/v2/v3 and the H3C iMC Intelligent Management Center. It supports CLI, Web management, Telnet, and FTP configuration. Secure management is ensured via encryption methods including SSH 2.0 and SSL.
